Five Ways To Antibullying

As you know bullying is more prominent in today then ever before. This is because we as a whole lost track of what’s important. Unfortunately, what used to be unacceptable in my time growing up is now okay to do in this era. I’m reminded of Romans 12 and how we ought to be toward one another. In verse two it tells us “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Which leaves me to this ….do we really take time to renew our mind or are we so caught up with our own affairs and can’t see what’s wrong or right?

I must admit as a young child growing up it’s so easy to conform to what’s around you. However, at some point you become of age or maturity to know what’s right/wrong. Now that does not mean at a certain age you got it together. Oftentimes it’s not the case of doing what’s right or wrong; some of us may just want to fit in. Well by fitting in you may have hurt some people along the way which is totally not acceptable. So today, I want to share with you five ways to anti-bullying. Please note this list is only to provide helpful strategies to incorporate into your daily schedule.

This is a great way to start talking about anti bullying. You’ll be surprised at how many people don’t know where to start until it’s too late. My motto is “Bullying may not have happen to you or your child, but if it’s in your neighborhood it’s close enough to affect you; so do your part!” Also keep this in your back pocket to “Not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.” Romans 12:17. Now it’s challenging to not get back at others when they have done you wrong, but think about the end result of everything before you react.
